Best Day of this year's season

Gents,
Today I had the pleasure of having my 8 year old daughter hit the water with me for her first time out hunting. We had a tremendous time of it even though I only fired one shot. She is completely hooked, and wants to skip school tomorrow too. She is begging me to take her down to the Columbia tomorrow, but her mom is standing firm.
Here are a Few photos.... I am so proud of her. She insisted on helping wind up the decoy lines!

Shawn tell your wife what Mickey told her teachers and friends at school ,when they asked where she was yesterday..she simply replied dad took me to "duck school" and yes she wanted to go the next day too...

It looks like the two of you had a great day too!
During the drive home from our hunt, I asked my daughter what she thought of her day of "Duck Hookey." She asked what Hookey was and I explained it to her. She pondered my explanation for a bit , and asked if she could tell the truth about where she had been today. I told her that she could tell anyone that asked about where she had been. She gave me one of those big smiles, and asked me to print the photos so that she could show her friends.
