Big Year (Kind of)

Have been getting a little more into birding, and was thinking, does anyone chase a big year (most species of birds) but from a hunting perspective? Like most possible species harvested in a single year. I used to trade notes with Steve Sutton on lifetime birds harvested, but haven't seen a specific year targeted.

From a young age I planned to do it over my lifetime, not in one year. My belief was that I would enjoy it more over a longer span of time. So far it has worked. I've had a Big Life in that regard.

I've never heard of that but this would be my year to try since I'm starting it off in Argentina.

I have never done it in a year. More kept a lifetime list and a dog list. I like to get the dogs on as many species as possible.
