Blackbuck antelope hunt

I know its not duck hunting related but I have to brag a little. I just got back from a pistol hunt in the Texas hill country. I harvested the biggest blackbuck I have ever had the chance to see. It took quite a few spot and stalks to get within pistol range but thanks to a great guide it worked out. He's a monster, he's gonna make gold medal in the record of exotics by over ten inches. Whoever said hunting exotics is easy as'nt stalked a blackbuck with a hand gun. A few times we got busted by bucks from over a half mile away up wind.

Congrats Capt.!!!!! WOW what a dandy buck that is. I went on a blackbuck hunt years ago and it was tough enough with a rifle, let alone a pistol. That has to be one of the best eating animals to ever roam this earth on four legs. Hope you have plans to at least get a shoulder mount?!?!? Congrats again thats quite a buck.

Its a 22-250 and I was shooting Hornady ballistic tips 55 grain I think. Its a sweet shooting pistol, off a bench it groups about 3 inches at 150 yards. I'm sure it could be better if someone else is shooting it. I get a little shaky
