Good morning, Rick~

Not much life on the cam right now - but I enjoyed the Gallery. I visited Blackwater just once - in July of 1975. My first (temp) job out of college was at Mason Neck NWR (just south of DC). Bald Eagles were still a rarity on the East Coast (north of Florida) back then. The manager gave me a quick tour. I remember mostly that we could barely see the refuge through the clouds of mosquitoes.

Blackwater is best during fall winter months. The camera moves around. The Osprey cam picks up more the waterfowl sounds. I am keeping cam up while working. Fishing looks good.
