Blizzard 2026 - How's things in your area?

My grandfather used to take us out to Boon Island on nice summer days to picnic and fish for cod and flounder. The most famous of several shipwrecks there was the December 1710 wreck of the Nottingham Galley. Crew made it to the bare rock island and holed up for there for almost a month. Several dead crew members were eaten before the survivors were rescued. 6 miles off shore--they could see smoke from fires in houses on shore, and fishing and trading vessels sailing along the coast. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boon_Island
