Bluebill revised plans vs older plans.

I purchased the Bluebill planes back in 2021 but haven't found the time to build the boat yet. Bottom and sides are listed as either 1/4" or 3/8" plywood, 1/2" for the floor, and 3/4" for the transom and bulkheads.

The drawings have either a 2000 or 2004 copyright on them.

If Devlin mentions that they have been updated since then, could you make a reply here and let me know please?

I will have to look on my plans and see what production date they have on them.

But his website says all the plans have been revised.

I'm not expert but I think on the phone he gave you two transom options. One with motor forward and the second with a flat traditional transom.

Don't quote me on this, but Devlin has been revising many of his plans to include metric measures. Richard
I was morely interested if he had changed the call out plywood thickness's.

My plans have a 2000 year production date on them.

I still haven't called them to find out, been to busy to sit down and make the call.

The Snow Goose changed from 3/8 to 1/2 for hull and sides... but I confirmed I'm ok still building with 3/8. 1/2 just seems overkill and I really don't want that extra weight.

He definitely added metrics to revised plans as he moved from drawn to computer-generated.

The Bluebill plans have no significant changes. Mr Devlin indicated that they were cleaned up a little when entered into his computer drafting program and that metric measures are included. Important to me was the addition of drawings for temporary bulkheads for building upside down. My set is on it's way. Richard
