how much do u pay for the blind grass? ive been grassing up my/ my cuzs boat with real grass and its just a pain in the neck sometimes, getting that material sure would help...
 
I use netting for the blind attached to the boat. I also cut stalks of phramites cane or bamboo cane to stick in the bottom of the bay all around the boat.
The netting came from Barre Army/Navy, pretty cheap.
The cane is free, just cut it off the right of way!
 
How big is that bundle of cane before you stick it all in the mud? It looks like it would about fill your boat . . . . . .
 
The cane compacts into bundles pretty well, I usually have about 30 stalks in a pile, then lash them with two straps. Normally carry 3 of these bundles, each weighs less than 50 pounds.
They ride on the left side (facing forward), strapped down, on top of the decoy bags.
It doesnt take up as much room as you think. And since we leave them where we hunt, its a lot less wieght in the boat on the way home.
I will try to get some pics next time I load up the boat.
