A friend told me about it viz. 3M 5200 a few years ago - but I have yet to try it.

How long do you have to let product sit on 5200 to loosen? I could see where this could be handy for loosening bond between upper and lower half's of fiberglass hulls that were sealed with 5200 .

I just purchased a 5 oz can to try on over spray of closed cell insulation foam. I'll post the outcome of my test. Manufacture said keep it wet for 1 hour and it should wipe off. We will see.

My main reason for posting? In all the years I've been a member here and all the projects that everyone has shared, I don't recall ever hearing about this product.

I thought it might be a tool/product, that would be of interest to the folks here.
