I am buying a used 15'6 Gheenoe Classic. Specs are as follows:
15' 6" in length, wide 4' 7" beam
approximately 225 lbs., capacity 580 lbs.
15" deep transom for
short shaft motors
maximum — 25 hp
My plan is to use the money from my summer job to purchase a mud motor and make my own blind. I have been comparing the different MM manufacturers and have come across the Bog Hog brand. Comparatively they are looking good for what I want but I have never heard of them or about them. Anyone have any experience with this brand? Any other recommendations about or besides Go-Devil, Mud Buddy, and Scavenger? I appreciate any responses. Below are some pictures of the boat I am going to get. I have talked to the manufacturer and they assured me that the transom could hold a 160lb motor. I would mount the fuel and battery forward.
