Branding iron design - Lee Harker Memorial Hunt

Still just messing around with this trying to get it to a state that would be transferable to a brand. I think I understand the resolution issue and limitation of trying to make this into a small brand head.

I have no expectation at all, just throwing this out for fun.

I agree about the pot hat figure and its undeniable recognition here in this forum to Lee and his humor.

I ceretainly dont think it represents the whole man but I have never looked at it as something that diminishes his character either. Its just when I see it, I think of him

Could you make the outer boundary of the brand in the shape of the pothead pot with the two decoys or whatever picture and words inside that? Just a thought to convey multiple points... although could cause clutter so it would have to be done just right to work...

I like the pot border idea with a simple Can in the middle. Then whatever text is required.

What about just using Lee's Brand and having an additional one made with the date of the hunt to go under it?
 
Here are three examples of how Lee signed his work over the years. There could be more but these are what I have.

This first one was very early in his carving, before he got a brand of his own.

Personally, I think something with his personal brand in it along with "Memorial Hunt 2009" in it would be great.
 
as Terry wanted, but fairly clean, though I like the idea of his "brand signature" as well.

You guys all have a lot of really great ideas! Maybe Mark Rongers and Terry Desilets could chose their top two ideas and put it to a vote on here and the MLB page?

I showed mom and she likes the post by Rick with the silhouette of dad and Blake in the Chuck Huff boat. A little more defined to show both the figures.... Maybe adding dads brand with the additional wording needed for the hunt?

Does anyone have pictures of what the 06, 07, and 08 looked like/ for reference?
