Broadbill all dressed for the season...

Here is my Devlin Broadbill made up with this year's dress. I used fountain grass right from my yard.
The dodger is lined with a water resistant canvas over a PVC frame. Over the canvas I added plastic net/mesh. The canvas and mesh is tied to the grass rails. I made cockpit doors more or less the same way. I've already been out an a rainy/sleet day and I am very pleased with how dry I stayed tucked down inside.

Boat looks good. I use maidenhead grass its tall 6'. I used it last year and it satisfied me. It's a little messy but it holds up pretty well and the best part is I have a ton of it on my property. Good luck and stay safe.

Great Shots Brian. Where in West Michigan are from? Southern or Northern? I was thinking of building a boat over the winter and the Broadbill was one I was looking at. I am in Marshall.
