Bulkheads and Tweety Birds

Here are a few pics of what will eventually be bulkhead #4. In the process of cutting a #5 into a #4, the bulkhead needed another 1/2" at the bottom. So I had to weld on a 1" x 1/4" piece of flat bar and cut it back. If done properly, you can barely tell there was ever a weld bead or seam, once it is blended down.

The only thing Ive been able to hunt lately is the tweety birds on the front deck (with my camera), so Ive attached two pics of a B&C cardinal and black-capped chickadee.
Hope all is well,
Neil

(Photobucket Question - Why do editing changes (like inserting text), show up on the photobucket site, but not when I insert the photo to the forum? Any ideas? Thanks -Neil)

I hope you don't mind that the cardinal photo is now my background. Even if you do mind it is my background. :-)
What kind of tree/bush is that?

Tim

Some type of rhododendron, or something very similar. The leaves pucker and curl up when it gets real cold.
