Cackler progress

I've made some headway, finished up today where everything pre-epoxy is cut, fit, and dry assembled with the exception of cutting out the small section of hull behind the motor mount in the well area. I figured on doing that after I broke it down to end seal all the bulkheads with epoxy.
I have several questions and will post them soon, thought I would share the progress thus far for now.
Heres a few pics.
Thanks,
Bob

Thanks Paul, I really appreciate it. I have a couple of questions about limber hole locations and tabbing to come, Bill Burress gave me a couple of great suggestions about drain locations over the phone last weekend. I'm hoping to see some progress pics of his Cackler build also....

Bob,
Looks great. Wow- what a clean setup.
Were you going with 2 sets of knees since the boat is longer than the original plans?
We were finalizing cutting out/routing knees tonight, and still have to cut out the rear floatation bulkheads and cut the access holes in all the other bulkheads. Been real happy with how close the parts cut to plan dimensions have been fitting. Been taking lots of pictures and hope to find time to post soon.

Take care!

I didn't think about a second pair of knees. The distance between bulkhead 3 and 4 is 10 1/4 inches greater than it is between bulkhead 2 and 3.
Is there a possibility of a structural strength issue along the joint or ??? to be concerned about with the 1/2" meranti that may require I add them??
Thoughts anyone ?

Hey Bob,
I enjoyed getting a chance to see your progress last weekend. As I expected the fit & finish is as good as it can be done. Your craftsmanship is definitely above reproach. I can't wait to see the progress when you start epoxying things up. Call me when you need a hand moving things around, or when you just want to noodle some ideas around. Best!
