I made it down to LaRose LA, for the Cajun Heritage Festival.
It is really a decoy show and duck calling contest. Great time, met some really nice folks. Incredible display of work from novice, working decoys and professional art. I will post up some pics to share.
 
Mark, it is quite evident that you had a great time at this event. I sure liked some of those carvings especially the wood duck and the other of the wood duck and duckling on its way down from the tree. Thanks for those pictures.
