Well, that's what my friend Capt Doug called it! I call it two thirds of a "North Dakota Slam". I finished my morning diver hunt, went home for some food and a nap. After my snooze, I dumped my decoys out of my boat, loaded up my fishing gear, went to a different lake and caught a couple of delicious Walleyes. I should have swatted a Ringneck on the way home to complete my Slam, maybe next year! Steve, the motor still runs great. Rich

Wish I was in ND right now...or back in Montana...or SD....or Ks....heck anywhere with upland birds and cool weather.....

That was a great time. Love seeing those walleyes mixed in with the ducks. What a day for you, Rich.

Steve, this hunt was a little bit nicer. This was the foggiest morning I ever saw up there. The field hunting stunk this year, so while my buddies were working themselves to death setting out hundreds of field decoys, I was sitting in my boat and whacking my beloved divers. This was possibly one of the best hunts I can remember, numbers wise. It is really cool when there are so many flocks coming to your decoys, that you can pick out the best drakes! Rich

SEEEETTT....

foggybin the panhandle as well....I came over to join Dani for a Thanksgiving hunt we had a tremendous Wood Duck hunt in the fog....like your hunt it was 3 decoys and a nice quiet little pocket all to ourselves....

I almost forgot to give credit to my Chessie boy Diesel. He is nine years old now, and being a Florida dog, the cold water was a bit of a shock for him. Diesel spent three weeks with me up there and loved every minute. I have two recliners in my living room, one for me, and one for Diesel. My wife stayed in Florida with the other three Chessies this year, guess who snuggled up next to me in bed, you guessed it Diesel. Rich
