cheap duck blind paint trick

I had to paint a blind last week that I recently built. I was looking at the 10 million color choices available on the paint chip and couldnt decide. I went to Ace and had them color match the top of a krylon camo spray paint rattle can. It worked perfect. I had them mix a gallon of cheap latex paint and slapped it on. I keep the good stuff from Lou at Lock Stock and Barrel for better grade applications.

great tip!

I pick up any of the cheap mis-tinted exterior flat paint I see at home improvement stores. Its great when it is a shade of grey, brown or green. Sometimes it is not the best color but it still works well as a base coat... the $5 gallon of pink I picked up two weeks ago works well as a 'primer' as long as I cover it quickly. :)
