conditions in south dakota

I'm not sure about the west side but I'm in Sioux City, Ia. just across the river from SD and it is friggin HOT. And I'm from the southeast and glad there ain't the humidity I'm used to. The corn is growin everywhere and is starting to tassel in most places..
 
Way too dry! I think there are enough lakes and ponds for the ducks to get by now in the central and north eastern parts of the state but they are going down. I'm in the SE also but what I'm hearing is that it is drying up all over with the heat. Lucky April and May were fairly wet. Seeing and hearing a few more pheasants also, hope they are coming back. This weather is probably going to affect next year more then this year at this point.

If you are wondering about places to hunt this actually might make it better this year if we don't get a lot of late summer and early fall rain. There are plenty of lakes that aren't going any place and not having wet spots in corn fields can be a big blessing.
