Conduit, Shelves, and taking the grand kids fishing

Barbara and I have spent the last week in Colorado with the kids. While Dani and Steve have been out on the Snookienookie of 2011 and Al Hansen is doing the dog training thingy, Lizzy has been fishing for trout.

I also helped Jared build a few shelves in a shed. The shelves are 25 inches deep and 3/4 conduit is used for support. To support the shelve a hole is drilled through the conduit and a sixteen penny nail is used for a pin. The back of the shelve is screwed to the wall using 4in, zinc coat, grabber screws. Also note that two shelves were supported from the rafters by using chain.

Now I need to get the son-in-law to fill those shelves with decoys that I can use...

Looks like a nice week Matt. I really like the one of Lizzy on the rock, a classic fishing pose.

Tim,

The photo on the rock was taken during a moment when Lizzy was concentrating on fishing and not fiddling with the worms or......you can fill in the blank. Lizzy is 4 and does like to fish but does has a hard time sitting still and is always busy investigating the world around her.

I, too, liked that shot of Lizzy and her fish. Good looking stream. Looks like your family is having some fun there. I found you thinking the same thing I was about the shelves and decoys! Very useful!
Glad you are having some fun.
Al

PS. Bev just landed in Anchorage and called me at midnight. Now I am wide awake.
Did someone mention something about training dogs?
