In case you have not seen the Jan/Feb issue of Hunting Fishing Collectable Magazine there is a featured article on one of our "family" members namely Dwane Ong. It's a very nice article about a super guy and a great carver/painter. I am especially proud of Dwane's accomplishments because of our work together through a MSU program and watching his growth the past couple of years has me in awe of his work.

Congrats from your Duck Blind Family.

Very nice Dwane! I'm sure Doc loves them too. I saw the article in the HFC journal. Great mag by the way. See ya soon.

Congrats to Dwane. His work continues to blow me away.

Pops, I hope you are doing OK. I am not going to make Westlake, but if you and Princess want to come down to KY for a class this spring, I definitely have some more interest.

Very best,
Steve

Hey Steve, Sorry to hear that you are not going to make Westlake. You will be missed. Yes we must talk about a class this spring. I have pictures of past classes on my screen saver and every time they come up I head for the bottle of Woodford. Did you do some kind of hipno thing on me? I'll give you a buzz and we can talk as I've had quite a bit of interest from your general area.

Yep I'm really proud of Dwane and all that he has accomplished. He is one of the good guys and will be a great tradition bearer. We'll talk soon. My best to Deb and your Dad.

Hi Willey: I'll see you when ever you come down to the Heartland where the Woodland is made. Looking forward to this event, those interested will be glad they did take one of your classes. He will have you carving a bird in no time, I think a lot of carvers can say that if they took one of your classs. So Ya then. Don

Hi Don....I'll never forgetr tha Walleye fry at the first class. Walleye and Woodford. What a great time.

Hope to see you in the spring.

Awesome work, Dwane/

We poke briefly at the Saginaw show 5 or 6 years ago near Lou's booth. I didnt even know you were carving at that time.

Thanks guys.

Hitch, yeah, Doc was pretty happy.

Steve, sorry you're not going to make it north next month.

See some of you in a few weeks!
