Congrats Pat on being named the "Contemporary Carver of the Year" at this year's Midwest Decoy Show; also known as Pheasant Run show in St. Charles, Illinois.

Can't wait to see you in July when we do our annual get-together on the East Coast. For those of you who are unaware, Pat is the Grandson of George "Home-run, Skippy" Barto; a very famous Illinois River decoy carver.
 
Glad to see Pat recognized. He is a positive force in contemporary decoys as well as historic decoys.

Congratulations, Pat, an honor well deserved. I very much miss your intermittent decoy vignettes and expertise on this site.

Unfortunately, I've never met Pat Gregory, but from reading his posts, and others posts about him , he's a great guy! He's a dedicated duckhunter and carver. I hope to meet him some day! Meanwhile, Pat, congratulations on your well-deserved recognition by the Midwest Decoy Show as the Contemporary Carver of the Year!
 
Congratulations Pat. Looking forward to meeting/talking with you and seeing your gunning rigs at the April show.
 
Thank you Bill and thank you to everyone for the kind words. It went extremely well. I'll see about getting some pictures posted up.
