BTW, GoPro's are awesome. The lens is wide angle and made that way on purpose so there is less chance of the camera missing the "action" in the shot. If you had lens with more magnification, the chances of you getting what you want in the shot would decrease.

You dont hold a GoPro and point it towards what you want to video/photograph like a normal camera. It is usually mounted somewhere and takes photos/video remotely.

They make a ton of different mounts for the camera... suction cups, head, wrist, chest and tripod mounts.... there is pretty much a way to mount it anywhere. I have even seen some guys mount them to the back of a retrievers dog vest facing forwards.... great videos of the dog swimming out to make the retrieve!

They make two versions of their camera.... one takes 11megapixel still images, the other is 5 megapixels. Both will print up to an 8x10 very nicely without any cropping. However, the 11mp version gives you the ability to crop and still retain decent resolution.

You can set it up to take still photos at timed intervals, or continuous video. I bought the headband mount, and plan on using it in the blind and duckboat this season for video.
