Correct gas line size?

I Just recently purchaced a 25hp yamaha 2 stroke and have been having a few problems with it I think it has somthing to do with the fuel system. Right now I have a 3/8 id gas line on it. is this to large ?and if it is would it cause me to stall when shifting in and out of gear?

sounds like dirty carbs
if you have the same model as me with 2 carbs, those jets get buggered up real easy

Patric,
an old friend here used to recommend this and I never believed it till I tried it. It dosnt get every carb but it helps a lot and some dont need the rebuild.

The motor treatment is found in a smaller can and works well on outboards.

Not going to be a fuel line issue if you have the hose you mentioned.
I agree it sounds like the needle and seat so try the cleaner in the fuel and down the carb throat and if it dosnt work get a kit and clean the carb on the bench.

Factory service book Highly recommended.
