I am down on the coast and do carve a little each year, but not on a regular basis. I would be happy to give you some of the titles of reading material I have found helpful. There are a few guys who do very nice work in the area and they have been very helpful to me. The next month is not good as I am expecting my third junior duck hunter and have to keep the house projects on the front burner, but I need to get two birds done before spring and will try to do a Saturday or Sunday.

sorry to be getting to you on this so late but I am sure you can understand the need to get a few things taken care of around the old house. We are very excited to be welcoming in our newest family member but are also not able to keep up all our usual activities this winter. I missed a bunch of good hunting to visit with my in laws at Christmas. Got home in time to set one bunch of holes in the ice and John caught his first salmon. Now that was a great gift for a dad. Also snuck in one banded mallard that got a two year stay in CT before we left. Hope you have had a great new year and are well stocked in the game department for the year to come.
Are you doing hunter safety classes this spring?
Have you heard from or hunted with Paul D?
I think I found a source for a recipe for beaver and beans that was a tradition at Fin Fur and Feather. Hope it comes with care instructions, cause we have five on the way for this years game dinner.
