Damn it's hot....

Lucky you. We couldn't buy a breeze or a cloud working on the duck camp yesterday. Officially the temperature was only 99 degrees, but the temperature above the steel surface we were working on, which OF COURSE was painted PITCH BLACK was measured at 147 degrees. I was almost unable to gather the strength to pour myself into the front seat of the pickup and drive home yesterday evening after being out there all day. I have a lot of respect for those guys in Iraq, I don't know how they do it.

Those poor boys can't even have a cold beer. Bottled water and warm pop has to get old quick. Whenever I'm at a bar and see a soldier that served there...I buy him a couple cold ones.
