hollow bass, sealed with epoxy and painted in oils. Still some tweaking needed on my body carving but I am getting closer to getting what I want.

VERY NICE MALLARDS!!! I think those are some of the best birds you've posted. You've set the bar high this month

These are just finished in the last couple of weeks.

The redheads are not really my style, but I was given the basswood cut-outs, so I went ahead, hollowed them out and finished them up,

Here's a cork semi-palmated plover

and one I did a few years ago that needed a few reapirs and paint touched up, now hopefully we'll have conditions in the fields where we can use a few goose floaters.

Finally finished up some Bluebills, and repainted 2 older ones to match. Tan cork with pine bottoms and tails, Basswood heads.

This is my first attempt at a hollow cedar decoy, as well as my first Wood Duck. I have some paint work to finish up yet, but its otherwise done. It along with a hen will be a gift for my brother.

Tom those are some awesome park ducks. Not sure where you need to tweak.

Clint nothing like a Magpie Goose to give a spread that down under look.

Charles they will hunt just fine. Good job on your first Woody.

My life has been pretty duckless since early this fall and I hadn't painted for a while I sat down this evening and did this quick watercolor. Nothing too good but it felt good to be painting. Nice stress relief... and it's not a fish. :)

a matched pair of pintails I finished up on the last day of November. Hollow bass and oils. Delivered them this week to a nice lady who bought them for her husband. Fellas too bad she is happily married, sounds like a great wife to me.

divers have been packed since last week. :) cooler and clothes is all I have left and then head east.

LOL , Tim, Like the Can even if he doesn't have perfect plumage!

Some Great work from everyone as always, and Tom Pins are looking swell.

Not as much carving going on during gunning season but here is a smooth lil' pair of Buffies.
