Decoy Fun Day in Connecticut

Hi Ed, Thats fine, I will bring a couple of Blacks and you can take your pick. As for me I like black duck decoys. I think this will be a great time, looking forward to meeting everybody. Pete
 
four days to go... quick question for any of the carvers attending, does anyone have a sheet of 4inch high density cork they would be willing to sell. i got myself into a bind with an order that i need to have done before duck season starts and im out of cork.

Mr. Revicki i had some blacks done but the VT DU state chairmen called me up the other night and i committed to 14 banquet donations of black ducks 3 of which are this weekend so that took all the blacks i had done. i'll try to get one for you to look at but maybe we could do the swap some other time.

Ed, I have a part sheet of 4" cork ( 25 3/4" x 30") that I don't need right now. I can order one from the duck blind to replace it. I will bring it and if you want we can work something out. Thats fine about the decoys we can talk about it on Sat. Let me know if you want the cork. Also I think someone up your way sells cork , maybe someone knows who it is. Thanks Pete
 
It looks as though i will be bringing the Cackler for a ride to the outing anyone else bringing there boats or are we just talking decoys ? Bob you bringing your boat for me to look at ? looking forward to the get together .

yea its tim bombardier "bomber" but id have to order a case. i just need enough for 6 15" mallards until i can get enough cash to order the case.

how big is the piece? and how much do you want for it?

Dave, There are a few people who indicated that they were going to bring their boats, blinds, etc. to display. This might really be turning into a fun day. Right now, it even seems the weather is going to cooperate.
 
Ed, The sheet is about 30" x 25" x 4". A sheet from the duck blind is 79.00 (36"x 24"x 4"plus shipping. I am sure we can work something out. Thanks Pete
 
I've got 2 sheets of black cork if anyone is interested in trading 2 sheets for 1 sheet of HD cork or would like to purchase the 2 sheets
 
sounds like a deal to me, thats only 6"s less then a full sheet and one inch wider then the sheets i usually get.

cant wait to go, got my stuff already packed.

I'll be bringing my new-to-me TDB

I haven't been able to finish a decoy, so I'm bringing one or two from the rig, dirty, scuffed paint, maybe some pellet marks...you know....gunning birds.
