What color added to yellow will give me the orange color of the bill of a hen mallard? (Herter's paint)

Jim, I was going to put my two cents worth in this thread but then I think you already knew that I was color blind.

I didn't get any stimulus money so I'm trying to make do. There only 5 mallard hens to do and just a touch up geeeeez :-)

That's alright; does your wife lay your clothes out in the morning? :-) Just kidding Al. For one who is color blind you certaintly take outstanding bird pictures.

So you are trying to touch up some hunting decoys? I think I figured out your problem,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, every one knows it is impossible to get the correct color mix a month before the season. Wait to do your touch up the evening before opener. Magically what ever color that gets mixed, will be just right. Funny how on the night before, quality standards are so much easier to meet. :>) :>)

Jim
He takes the pictures at night of black birds.

Well Joe, I found a small can of orange in my basement, did the mallard hens and when that orange dries I'll add a splash of BLACK to the dorsum of the bills just for you. :-)
