Thought I would share a couple decoys with everyone. This is the first raised wing red head that I have done. It is a good challenge. It is one of those birds that I walk away from saying I realize how much I don't know. Lots to learn.




The golden eye was a great end to the week. Came home friday, opened the mail, and it was here. Stefane is one of the heroes in the carving world. It amazes me that he can carve a life sized bald eagle and get the same quality with this little guy. He told me to tell everyone here hello for him. The picture of the Golden eye does not do the bird justice

Jason, that redhead looks lonley, I think you need to pack him in your suitcase and bring him to Washington so I can give him a ride in my boat this winter!!

Jason, I'm going to experiment on the wife and kids tonight with some beer battered turkey strips, if it works out we'll have some for the get together.

I'll have the elk thawed and hopefully we will be able to get to the cabin Saturday night for dinner, we had alot of snow last winter, I haven't made it up there yet due to the snow drifts.
