dog kennel run recomendation

Hi Bob
Check with your local Hunting Retriever Club (HRC) they might have a member that has contacts or they may know of a trainer that is getting out of the business and is liquidating their kennels.

Hi Bob

I build my own.
Its a fraction of the cost and just a little time.
I use the brackets and hardware from this link. I buy the pipe, which is chain link fence top rail at the local lumberyard along with the fence and tension bars.
You can build any size panels you want.

New panels I just made

Putting them together

aren't you the guy who comes to Louisiana fairly often? If so I have one of this guy's kennels and it is awesome. They are assembled with corner pins so you can easily join multiple kennels side by side. http://www.outdoorproductsmfg.com/pictures
Not the cheapest, but custom built heavy gauge. Many trainers down here have their full setups welded by him.

Thanks guys for the good info.
Tim , checked around those sites, nothing to be had.
Kris, Im the coonass wannabe, those runs are great and I would look into them if they were for an everday setup. This is going to be at the duck club and lightly used during the season in Illinois.
Doug , Im going to look into those. I looked at the website and it would work. Your set up looks great. How did you make your door corners ? are those parts from this company ? they look like Kee Klamps? Bob

Bob

The gates are done with a gate corners , the pipe slides in then you tighten the bolts and thats it.
On the gates you will want to screw a metal screw into each pipe through the corners and the center bar to keep things from twisting.
If you decide to build yours let me know and Ill take some closeup pics of things for you.

Bob here's another idea. Menards sells prefab panels that join together to create a kennel. Three sides and a gate panel. I believe they are 5' sides. I had one set up in my garage for years...worked great.

If you really want to get spiffy, build some racks on top of the kennel to store your boats. Of course, you'd have to buy several more retrievers to store all your boats...

The nice thing about a boat is, they are not an eating/pooping machine like a lab... pg

Brilliant Bob! Making it somewhat business like might fool her into thinking this is a business capital venture... Of course, at this point in life, she just wants you out of the house... Hence the reason for having a cabin...

I know the drill...
