Great post. Scott, we have a lot of beach ftont type land here in the high desert of New Mexico. Land developers swear that "some day" it will be really valuable when the water comes! So in the meantime I take my dogs for some training which of course is on the waterless beach for retrieving practice. Took these about three years ago of Sonora, our black female teaching a younger Belize how to go after a bumper. Bev's grandson, Michael, was helping me.

Come on, early teal season which starts here on Sept. 11th. There is still some water that hasn't evaporated yet in the pond. Fingers crossed.

Thank you for that wonderful offer, Scott. It just got through raining here and that should help the pond. I will patiently wait to see if the teal buzz through this area. I'll be ready for them and will have Chip in the blind with me.. Not only that but my wife is a darn good cook and I look forward to our meals.

Good to hear from you. I hope all is well with you and Bev. Pearl will be going into her 10th season in another month. She turns 10 in Feb 2022. It doesn't seem possible she'll be that old, she has brought so much joy in those years and still has so much enthusiasm. Just a great dog. Thanks for asking. Have a great upcoming season.
