Double Barrels for Ducks

Roy it is a 3" Miroku made BSS. Definitely a workhorse gun, nothing light about it. Came with two light scratches on the wood, no reason not to use it now that it blemished goods. I lucked into it through a friend and paid a very fair price for it. I do not see it ever leaving my possession

Tom I had the full choke on my Ithica/SKB 100 reamed to Mod as the Mod choke measured IM. The gunsmith that did the work advised me that my favorite duck loads would be fine in the gun. I have run cases of them through the gun with great results (for me not the ducks). :) the gun has 2 3/4 chambers. I shoot 1 1/8 oz of 3's or 4's at 1400 fps. Mostly Kent Fast Steel. I used to reload Federal GM hulls in a similar load before Kent came on the market. Most days the 4's are my choice but I usually have 3's for the days when the birds seem to work at longer ranges......longer for me would be 30-35 instead of 20-30 yds. 90% of my bag is divers including Mergs and GE's..considered by many to be tough birds to put down.
