Duck boat page members locations

I travel a fair amount for work on the Eastern part of the country and I am always wondering if I am in the area of fellow members. I spend a lot of evenings flipping throw channels at the hotel and would love to meet up sometime with other members as an alternative. I might even be willing to buy the occasional cocktail.

I travel the majority of Florida, parts of Georgia, North Carolina, Eastern Mass, Southern NH, parts of PA, Eastern NY, Southern Ohio, parts of WV, Minnesota, Michigan, Eastern TN and many other spots in the Eastern time zone.

If anyone ever wants to do some networking and have a drink or dinner, drop me a PM. I would love to say hello!

(I recognize that this could come off as a little sad and pathetic, but I outgrew pride in my 30's)

Someone should develop an Uber-like network for waterfowlers who have to travel for business.

Send me a PM in advance if you are ever headed up to Marquette.

Kevin,
You are just around the corner from us. Stop by for some single malt Scotch when you are in the area.

Hey Kevin -
I'm in the same boat. I travel way too much and spend many evenings doing the same as you. I have met some folks from DBHF and had a ood time. Also have taken suggestions on where to eat and what to do and have been very happy with the suggestions.
Sholud you get up to MN, ping me. I'm heading down to your State next week. Monday - Wednesday near Columbus.

Hey Kevin,

You aren't too far away from me to begin with. I'm only a couple hours from you in Erie, PA. If you get up this way give me a shout.

Clinton Township, Michigan (48036 shop)(48035 home). We're close to Lake St. Clair (lake house also in New Baltimore) and about a half hour north of Detroit.
Happy to get together when you're in town.

Kevin, If you land in Mpls./ St. Paul Mark and I could get together with you or anyone else from here and trade lies. I have a couple but Mark has plenty. ;-))

Thanks for the overwhelming response! Now I just need to get on the road and make it to the four corners of the earth to see everyone!

I don't envy you, after spending 25 years enjoying the "adventure of flight" on a routine basis, I can't imagine how grating it is in current commercial air travel environment.

A little slow on my part but do take advantage of your business trips to meet people. I have very fond memories of driving down to Huntsville, AL in 2000, to meet Eric (& Andrew) & got a ride in his scaup - that started all this. Then we meet up with a bunch of other DHBP guys for dinner. It was super!

Another business trip I got to stop in and visit Dr. Steve M in Louisville before he moved to Paducah, and got to check out his Sanford Coffin Box.

And me, I work 10 minutes from Bradley International Airport (BDL) - Hartford, CT / Springfield, MA, and live even closer, but luckily not in a flight path.

All~

South Cambridge - known to the USPS as Buskirk - is about 45 minutes NE of Albany. So, not far from Saratoga Springs in NY or Manchester or Bennington in VT.

All the best,

SJS
