Well I'm bored and its snowing and raining here so know outside today. So I thought I would ask you all to do something different. With this virus in all states an almost all country's . I thought of a way to make some money for the site. We should sell waterfowl face mask. You know ones with ducks geese ,boats what ever. Here in New York State we have to ware them in stores and in crowds. So why don't one of you gifted people make some. It would be cool to go into a store with a big mallard or wood duck on your face. Or a nice sneak boat. I have been taking my dogs bandana from pet smart grooming to cover my face. I think with all the skill you all have that you could make something cool. Be safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As it turns out, I just ordered a bunch yesterday - from a source many of us know. I met Diane in Tuckerton long ago and still have some bags I bought from her in the mid-90s.



She is out of the ones with dogs on them....

In theory it sounds OK.

But research has shown that the virus can stay on a medical mask for SEVEN DAYS.

Cloth, just hours.

So the large handkerchief/bandanna (that were made in the USA). That we used to wear in the steel mills, when not wearing a proper respirator, work much better.


The plus is that they can be easily washed, and dry very quickly after use. Ready to work again.


I have some for fly fishing, that do have flies & trout on them (made in the USA). Very useful, but not as mouth and nose covering YET.

Ones with the duckboats logo make sense, and IMO much better than Camo. I (and no doubt others) already have some of those.


Trying to find a good large handkerchief/bandanna made in the USA, is a real challenge today. Time was they all had it printed along one corner.

Have a good collection, clean and folded in a drawer.

Me thinks they may see use again, after many years of rest.

When ya buy good things from the jump, with care, they last.
