Guys,
It does my heart good to see the pics and videos of duck hunters from Louisiana driving all night to Houston to help save people in the flooding there.

Those are exactly the right guys with the right equipment ranging from small jon boats to air boats.

God bless them and keep them safe and bring some deliverance to so many struck by so much water.

May we all help in any way we can.

Thanks for posting Larry. With all the crap going on regarding White Supremacists, Black Lives Matters, Neo Nazis etc..... My contention is this is the America I know and love. Only a very small, and I mean very small, minority of folks are not praying for or helping the folks in Texas. Wish the media would report all the good, and not all the stuff voiced by a minority of folks who want to divide us.

Off the soapbox.....

Thanks for posting, there are still many more good caring people in the world they just don't sell advertising time.
We had a flood here in 2004, not near the devistation of the folks in Houston, my some and I took my duck boat out and helped some local business owners get some files out of a second story office that was about under water. While we had the boat pulled up along side the building I saw a guy across the street that was standing on the landing watching the water rise around him. I shouted over and asked if he wanted a ride out when we were done and he said no thanks. When we got everything out of the office and the water had risen to the level of the guys deck he called over and said he wanted a ride, we motored over and he jumped in with a brown paper bag and crouched in the bow, we made the trip down Main Street Austin and as soon as I killed the motor he jumped out and ran like a rabbit in a hail storm. Thought it was odd until I found out later he was a known local recreational pharmaceutical dealer. He probably had all his "good stuff" in the bag.
Prayers to all the folks in Houston.

Just shows where the good hearts are. We were just saying if I felt better it would be an adventure for some old retired guy. I have wanted to see Texas just wish this mess hadn't happened.
