would like to see some pics of different set ups on theses boats im looking at getting one and just wanted to see how people set them up and what type of seats there using

I bought mine in 2020 (so it's technically the Duck Invader). In 2023 I switched from natural grass to using grass matts for the flappers and the deck. Collected grass from where I hunt for the grass rails. Motor cover from bags by Diane (I see another post on here that she may reopen the shop for another week.... definitely worth getting) Every year I tweak it a little more and it hides a little better, but this should give you an idea of what my set up looks like. Pic on the trailer from when I first switched to grass matts. Pic in the water from a year or so ago when I returned to the dock to give you an idea of how it sits in the water (kept my faceless buddy in pic for scale). Front flapper is up (side flappers were already removed for trip home).

I regularly hunt two out of it. Once 2 guys and a small dog. No problems.

For years I used the 4 rivers BAR seats, which worked nice, but.. last year I switched to using these https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/cabelas-hunting-lounger and it was a comfort game changer. They sit a little higher, but at my age its worth it. When fishing season comes around I use swivel Dove chairs to sit on.

As to the add-ons...One 'extra' that I really like having is the decoy curtains. Helps keep everything nice and tidy in its place. I like the grass rail during hunting season. But if there is no grass in them, they shoot water back into the boat. No big deal, I just remove them at the end of the season before I go fishing. Just something worth noting.

Overall, I'm very happy with this boat. It meets all my needs, is a pleasure to hunt out of and I definitely feel safer than in the Jon boat I used to have.

I know a bunch of people use the Alps chair that’s similar to the one you shared a link to. Boat looks good btw!

I’ve used both momarsh chairs and the turkey chairs. I like the momarsh better.
I hunt 2 guys and a 90lb lab out of mine no problem. Mine is the newer one so cockpit is a little bigger.
I think the move with these boats is an over head blind. I want to get one built. Also the draft is a little more than a South Bay. The best way to correct that is an on the fly jack plate. I think with those two items the boat is perfect for the marsh on LI

That's the older design. Less room for the guy in the bow. Still a great boat. Those, the TDB, and of course the Roy's started the grass flapper boat trend.

The problem with the newer boats and longer flappers is the grass drags in the water while running. This is problematic when it's cold and the grass ices up. Not a good look for ducks.

Myself and a lot of other folks are looking for a solution to this.
