Duck Season Good Ending

Our weekend on LI was cold, but my son and mate never complained. The heater offset what could have been a nasty am on Saturday. Sunday we did not fire a shot. Nothing came close enough, but that's ok he loves taking the boat out. After going home and straightening out the boat my son said to me, " I had a really nice weekend with you Dad." What better way to end a season. Special thanks to Eric and Steve, Gary March for his great pics. And Todd T for your stories. To all the rest this site has made the experience more enjoyable. Kevin, it sounds like your son has all of the basic fundamentals down pat and is squared away for a wonderful life of duck hunting especially after coming home with nothing but still having fun! You are the fortunate one. Thanks for sharing that story. I'll look forward to seeing pics of your ducks next season.
