Duckkboats.net UK Ambassador arrives in the states

Very nice Fred, that looks like an awesome waterfowling adventure. Paul is very fortunate to experience it. Harliquin and cans are species that many US waterfowlers dream about (me included).

Good luck these next few days!

Paul and I have been hard at it finding some pockets of birds, still not a lot around the areas I frequent.

Had a good morning yesterday after the wind picked up and some birds started to move around.

This stud of a drake can dropped in and Paul made a great shot at 25 yards

Headed out tomorrow for Greater Scaup.

Fred,

Not only will Paul have some cool mounts and fond memories, he will be taking back some really nice photos of his hunt as well. Looks like even with your supposed shortage of birds you guys are managing quite well. Thanks for sharing the good times with Paul and also for taking the time to share them with us. I have really enjoyed following this entire thread. Is Jarhead still with you guys? If so, have you had to add a 2nd log book to record all his adventures?

Thanks for sharing the photos and stories Fred. The secenery out there is amazing, has this midwest flatlander jealous.

Thanks for taking us along on your adventure with Paul! It looks like you had a very nice mixed bag in that last photo with some real nice drakes taken. I've really enjoyed this thread at a time of year when our hunting season is over. Good luck on the scaup and stay safe!

Now that's what I'd call one Fine Waterfowling Adventure! Congratulations. Ducks & Decoys make some wonderful friendships. Thanks for sharing one heck of a grand time.

Congratulations Paul! Glad to see you may it to the US for a hunt! I think my season is blown to bits... way too much work and travel - not even enough time to get on the horn with you - my sincere apologies.

Anthony
