I ment to say that Amber is very speical to me as she is the only little girl I have got now and the way she is coming along, she is going to be Like Meg my last little girl and she was second to none. In the pictures you will see Amber in the training area where I train her and this is about 4-5 miles square with the river running through it. Over the years I have trained all my dogs in this area.

In my view I think all the Drakeshead dogs are pritty I have never seen a ugly one yet, If Amber was Black, Im sure she is Meg reancarnated, she certenly has got a lot of her ways.

Glad you like the pictures mate, Yes I am proud of Amber and the boat as I feel things are coming together now, but I was more proud last saterday when I took Amber out, on her first hunt and watched her do her first retrieve, thats when I saw all her training is starting to pay off.

Lou & Eddie, thanks for the pics& update. Ya got a winner there in Amber! Keep her working, seems that labs are happiest at "work" with somthing to carry in thier mouths. I do like what your dooing with the boat, you're making it your custom rig. I do know your going to love the shelves& wish there is room for another set. Keep pluging away at it& it'l be done before ya know it, then Amber& you can live in it all next fall! Have a great season!

Thanks mate Im glad you like the pictures, Amber is fully trained up now and I have got to that stage I carnt teach her anymore apart from her boat drills but each day she will be recaping on all the exercises that she has learned over the past 18 months and with a bit of exsperience now she will be a top dog like my last one Meg. Also my boat Im making is to suit my needs for me and Amber, its going to be a one off, thats why Im calling it a Eddie Kershaw
special because it will confront to my idears and needs for the type of waterfowling we do over here in the UK. At this moment in time Im getting most of my materials together then it will be one big push on it to get it finished so yes mate Im confident its going to be on the water for next season and it should,nt let me down has I have been taking my time to do all the work properly.
