Thanks for the encouragement mate Im glad you like how the build is coming on, has you have said our boatsbuilds are compleatly different, I dont consider my boat to be a Devlin mallard, all right I have made the hull from the Devlin mallard plans because it was a displacement Hull but that is far as I got all the top section is BBSB and I dont know of anybody who might of tried building a BBSB/Mallard before, who knows it might be one more for the books HeHeHe.As for the guys teasing me about the clenlyness of my workshop, I know they are only joking and having a laugh and that does,nt bother me. When this boat is made I will be the only guy in our club that as got a BBSB, infact the only guy on the Mersey Estuary with a BBSB.

Has far as Im aware, I think I maybe the only guy over hear with a sneak box as I dont know anyone else that as got one, all the guys I know with boats have punts, I think you guys over there call them pole boats, Im glad you like the build so far mate.

Eddie, its really starting to take shape mate, looks good.

Sorry not been around much but have been working all the hours that i am given as lindsey is still off on maternity leave so only my wages coming in. cannot wait only 3weeks left and I shall be out on the foreshore. Cannadas will be on the list 1st of september all being well. My 9year old niece will be joining me down there.

The boat is really taking shape, and it's good to see a little (and I mean a very little) dust around that shop. Keep up the good work. Sorry to have missed your calls of late but things have been a bit crazy around here, even by my standards crazy!

Good to hear from you mate, I though you had given up on me, I agree get the money while you can as this acconamy is getting worse.Im also looking forward to the 1st of september, it looks like I will be shooting the foreshore this season as I dont think my boat will be finished but I dont mind that as it will give Amber time to get used to the foreshore and the smell of the marsh. Taking your 9 year old niece with you should be fun now dont forget to teach her properly the ways of the marsh and foreshore HeHe And for heavons sake dont get cut off by a incoming tide and watch those gulllys at the back of you mate. Glad you like how the boat is coming along and Ill get there in the end and one day I will take it down to pool Arbour seeing as I have,nt shot it for a few years, Good luck on the 1st mate.

This is a crasy world we are living in, so nothing surprizes me and I understand fully what your going through and your situation, you have to work all the hours under the sun to keep a float and put food on the table and not just you mate all the other guys also so dont worry about my calls you have got to get those hours in and thats the mainthing but when things get a bit slacker, we may be able to talk over the phone.
I have been leaving a little dust on the floor, just to show you guys that I can make dust and it has been killling me to send pictures to lou with my workshop like that but now all the guys have seen dust on the workshop floor I will go back to cleaning and sending pictures of my workshop has it should be. Im glad you like the way the boat is coming along, a mate of mine gave me a nice book on boatbuilding and there is plans in it for a double ender like yours.
