My gwp was recently diagonosed with ehrlichiosis. He was exposed to a large number of deer ticks and dispite my best efforts to ward off ticks with front line, he got sick. I took him to the vet and his blood tested positive. The time between the exposer to the ticks and treatment was 2 weeks when he started showing signs off being ill. He's on 28 days of antibiodic and after a week seems to be back to his normal self. My vet won't say if he will be cured. I guess what I am asking is if anyone knows more or has dealt with ehrlichiosis. Joe if you read my post I hope your hound is doing better
