Epoxy painting? NDR

I need some advice on painting over epoxy that I used to repair a door, I just want to hide the repair with some basic white paint. I just used some epoxy resin to seal a storm door. I guess it could be duck related as the epoxy was first bought to build my mallard!

Wash off any blush with soap and water, sand enough to create a rough surface, apply primer, then paint.
