Eric - can you ID the little kid in this pic? From the pics you posted of this season, the only thing in common now is the hair color, and waders! ha

My family is out-of-town today so I was putting off some chores and looking through older digital pic folders. I can't believe my oldest will be 7 soon:

And this little Russell kid is out fishing is old man now...

I see my younger self in the background of one of those pictures. Thomas could sure blows call then, I would imagine he is pretty good now. Thanks for the memory Kyle.

Shawn - I remember thinking the same thing about Thomas blowing a duck call at that age. Wonder what Jeff King is up to?

Jeff - That was actually in Decatur on Wheeler. The show was held in conjunction with the Southern Wildlife Festival which took place in Calhoun's gym.

Kyle,

I was there too! Sold somebody (Jamie?) my last case of Wiley cork. Thomas has growed a bit. Calls very well though sometimes not the right call at the right time. He's getting there. Since he went to 12 gauge his shooting has gotten even better. Better than his Dad, though he hasn't caught me yet. Both Eric and Thomas have a minor fault in their shooting, i.e., they see the flock but not the duck.

P.S. Eric reminds me it was Jason who I sold the cork to.

I remember that day. He was so excited to help with setting the decoys out. Funny. that's the one thing he now doesn't like to do :)

I enjoyed that show...I miss it!

Anyone else remember the infamous rig of Wonder Bread confidence decoys?

Or Daffy? That had to be the best "decoy" I've ever seen...

He doesn't like to do it but has become much better at it. Thomas no longer just sits and watches Eric and I pick the decoys up. Maybe in a few years he will even pull his own weight.
