estuary class build

I need to make seven. Dave stacks two at a time when he does them. I decided I would just do one to keep things simple

I installed the shear clamps before work today. I need to make a couple more deck beams and then I can finish up the deck frame. The boat build is going good but I need to decide what kind of deck to do. There are a few ways that Dave does them. I can use okoume plywood, cedar plank ship lap and douglas fur v groove. Any one that has an estuary I am looking for what you like about how your deck was done.

Mike,
I had Dave put the Dinel (not sure if thats spelled right) over the plywood because it would be more durable with my Labs and less maintenance but that V groove fur sure does look nice. I guess it depends on where you're going to keep it stored too.

Mike,

I have dynel over okoume too. I think it will wear very nice and it gives you a good grip on the deck.

All the deck beams are in and are faired. I will pore the foam in then start the deck. I will try to post some pictures tomorrow.
