Three years ago in Tuckerton was the first time I saw Dave Clark's Estuary. Right then and there I knew I wanted one. The craftsmanship was the first thing that caught my eye, it was second to none. I started to think of all the places I could hunt out of it, in my eyes it was the ultimate. I've owned a few boats in the past (Carolina Skiff , Bankes Dominator, MLB Wegion, Four Rivers layout, bobcat, Aquapod, and a canoe) and they were all good in certain situations. I feel I can cover more of the situations with the Estuary from sea ducking, going for divers in the bay, to hunting up river in the marshes. I've read a lot of the post from proud owners of them and never hearing about any regrets. I talked to Kevin Folkman on the phone about his first season with his, all positive. I think I've only seen one used one for sale in the classifieds and if I remember correctly he owned two, that says a lot. I'll admit the price scared me at first but I'm a firm believer of you get what you pay for,so it didn't scare me for long.Peace of mind in knowing what your hunting out of goes along way, if you know what I mean.
Now that all my remodeling projects are done around the house and my wonderful wife gave me the okay I put in the order. So next hunting season I'll be hunting out of my own Estuary and hopefully there will be plenty of photos and successful hunting stories to post.
