Everyone cross their fingers

Thanks again for the replies and kind words. I'll get some pictures up when I get some stuff done and painted. I've learned that I really need to work on taking better pictures.

Doc, I have your bluebills on the to do list and should be getting them done in the next two weeks.

Tom, I'd be happy to carve you a pair of either. I'll even hand deliver them and have a look at that Sam Hunt boat. I'll bring my buddy with me who is from Jersey. He helped work on a few of Sam's boats back in the day, and it seems Sammy had a thing for his mom (kind of a joke I'm sure he'll let you in on)

Thanks again everyone. It means a lot to me!

Paul,
My fingers are crossed! You'll do just fine. Do what you love to do. I think your wooden utensils are a great way to make some money. I 'll take a set or them. Let me know how much, send me a pm pls.

As far as the constructions in our country is going... You have to find where all the rich wealthy people are building. Because they have not stopped. Some how get your foot in the door with someone involved in building for them. I had to take a job with a builder here, but he has a very good reputation and builds the most elite houses in this area. He and another builder are the only ones busy in our area. But these houses are huge. 6 200 sgft. 9 000 sg ft. Just the rich are building. Good luck! Ed

Paul,
I wish you all the luck in the world. Your passion for decoy carving and painting will show in your work and you should do just fine. Don't overlook Ebay many newly carved decoys are sold on there each and every day. I personally bought one from a carver I never heard of simply because of the style. It was something I wanted to study for a concept I have in mind.

I hope you become exstreamly sucessful and find yourself blessed with more orders then you have the time to carve!
