A friend and I just picked up three Clinton molds at a flee market. Couldn't
Believe that they were there. We were thinking of using an expanding foam instead of the eps beads. If anyone one has any suggestions on foam or release agents I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks Chester

Check out US Composites. I haven't tried their foam yet, but just received some closed cell, two part polyurethane 2 lb. marine foam from them today. I'm going to use it to provide an additional floatation cell in my canvas bird. They have release agents as well.

There is some good info at http://workingdecoys.net/home.htm .

My understanding from all the reading I did when I was considering exactly what you are is that removing the release agent from the decoy afterwards is key to getting paint to stick.
Its why I decided to carve & burlap my foamers.
