eye screw for herters 81?

What was the original size brass eye screw. I am taking apart old used and finding 2 different sizes.

All of mine are 1/4-20 thread, some are 5", some are 6" if that helps. I know Bob over at Decoy Works carries stainless steel ones but I'm not sure what size.

Thanks Jon,
The original were a brass eye screw wood thread. This was before cabalas started using the zinc plated eye screw.
At this time I do not need any I just want to know the history.

Yes, they were on the flat bottom bodies for sure. I can't remember if the brass came on the old Herter's, with external keel.

I sold a bunch of heads with those screws not too long ago. If memory serves, they were smaller in diameter; maybe 3/16's. That's more of a guess than and educated guess.
