By far my favorite hunt of the year last year. Bailey and I took huge advantage of the warm weather at the end of the season. Somewhat bittersweet though, as this might be her last hunt. Her hips don't handle slogging through the water as well anymore. It's tough leaving her at home, she loves hunting and HATES being left behind. I was really happy that I took her along on this hunt.

Dad's duck hole. Overall, the lake is about 2 acres, surrounded by pecan/pin oaks. He had by far his best season last year. Very rarely will we get lots of ducks, but rarely do we get skunked either. Oddly, it's almost completely a morning spot.

She's killed as many greensheads I have in my career, that is pretty awesome!

Funny thing: I should have a pic just like that: chocolatte lab holding a bull pintail. But I totally blew my only chance for a bull sprig last year. Glad you got yours!

One of my all-time favorites. Just a silly snap shot.

My Son and I were out, no Ducks. Got up to stretch, Suzy jumped up on this log and just casually leaned back onto my gunning bag. My son whispered, "Dad, you need to see Suzy", I turned just in time to snap this one-
