Nice pic Al

Al, I can't take the credit. The pic was taken by Steve Lewis, Sandy's dad. He decided to drop his smartphone in the water soon after sending me this pic. because Sandy was "wiping his eye", as the British say, in the shooting department!

I'm not one to usually mess with photoshop or similar programs. I did get a new editing program and like how this one turned out from the early season:

Opening morning in the duck boat. It makes Deuce look like an actual duck dog.

My sister took this of me and my dog last Sunday, the end of pheasant season.

Have not posted in a long time, but here are a few pictures of Addi and her first trip to Saskatchewan, poor girl fell asleap on her feet one day. Last picture was close to home.

So many to choose from. Here are a few in no particular order...

A cold and icy morning in November.

Snow capped Rocky Mountains form the backdrop.

Early season sunrise.

Nicely plumed birds.

The central Indiana zone goes out this weekend so there's a chance I'll get a picture to top my favorite(s) but it's highly unlikely for a number of reasons...

My favorite duck related picture;
With our third child being born on September 2nd, I missed all of dove, teal, and our early split, it seems I've been playing "catch-up" all year. Thankfully, we had time to train... this guy splashed down about 200 yards away from where he was hit.

This is my favorite from this year, and probably for many years to come;
My 5 1/2 year old on his first pheasant hunt.

The odds were against us, but I have a new favorite duck related hunting picture... with 7 minutes to go in my season; this guy came into the decoys.

Carl, you need to make a trip up to North Alabama for some awesome canvasback hunting. 2 years ago when I was still Stationed near savannah, ga and I could come home on the weekends, my hunting partner and I shot our two bird per person limit everytime we went out for almost two weeks straight from the same spot.
