Finally....

Finally finished my dozen mallards. Rehab and repaint of 25 year old cork blocks. Eleven Hilliards and one Waverider. I was apprehensive of painting these because of Pete Hilliards great paint scheme, but I really needed to because after 25 years bouncing around the bottom of the boat they were beat. Thanks to Steve Sanford for the tutorial, inspiration and help. So here they are..

There is no doubt that you are ready for next year's duck season to begin. Beautiful job of painting. Some great looking decoys.

Very good, your work will pay off next season. Man, I have not heard of Wave Rider Decoys in years. I have a pair of Mallard sleepers (that I also repainted) in my big water rig that have seen lots of action.
